Pat grew up in Eastern Wisconsin with a dairy background. He graduated in 1981 from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a degree in Agriculture Business. Pat spent 15 years as a dairy nutrition consultant with Land O’Lakes, INC. This position allowed Pat to interact with dairy producers throughout Wisconsin, providing his nutrition and feeding advice for the entire herd, including calves, heifers, cows and dairy beef throughout Wisconsin.
For the last 15 years, Pat has focused on forage production and management on small and large dairies on throughout the Midwest. He advises producers on storage systems and silage-making practices, including packing, sealing and safety. Pat worked directly with several feed mill locations in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana and provided training and expertise in the area of forage management.
