New panel clamp rotator for Silostop Agri boosts UK installation logistics flexibility

New panel clamp rotator for Silostop Agri boosts UK installation logistics flexibility

Following a substantial capital investment and development programme, Silostop Agri can now rely on it’s own panel clamp rotator in the UK for the unloading, rotation and installation of vertical wall panel systems

Previously Silostop Agri would have relied on the services of a Dutch subcontractor well versed in the handling of these panels

As Bosch Beton’s UK sales and distribution partner for agricultural and AD plant applications this strategic investment gives increased capability to both Silostop Agri’s operation effectiveness and to our Sister Company Milbank Concrete Products general construction applications.

Capable of lifting and placing even the largest typical panel , a 4m U-profile wall weighing a massive 11,400kg , the clamp will be operated by one of several fleet SVO 8-wheeler artic units with 145 tonne/ metre forward mounted cranes with additional rear ballast where required and front 45 degree splay standing legs permitting greater reach lifts between vehicle moves; facilitating faster on site placement and lowering operational costs

Panels are delivered to site on low ride height trailers travelling vertically or for taller panels, laid down at 90 degree on the trailer bed. The new clamp rotator fabricated by a Dutch fabrication specialist working for Bosch Beton makes this operation safe, swift and efficient.

Bosch Beton vertical wall systems are suitable for lifting and re-purposing and have been considered for dairy farmers considering expansion, repurposing or 10 year FBT.
