Exploring Italy: A Visit to Agroteam

Exploring Italy: A Visit to Agroteam

This trip was an exciting opportunity to see firsthand how farmers are using our products and how Agroteam has fostered strong relationships with their customers.

Visiting Farms and Experiencing Silage Success

During our visit, we had the chance to tour several farms, witnessing their incredible work to produce high-quality silage. One particularly memorable stop was at a buffalo farm, the first time I had ever been to one. Observing these calm and friendly animals up close was fascinating, gaining insight into their feeding and management practices.

Silage Challenges and Smart Solutions

One key takeaway from our visit was seeing how farms adapt to different weather conditions. For instance, one farm had left Silostop Max in place longer to protect the silage face from heavy rain. This simple yet effective approach ensured that the bunker face remained dry and the silage quality was preserved.

Innovative Farming Practices

Innovation was on full display at a farm using a Lely Vector feeding robot. Observing the section of silage being lifted from the bunker was impressive, particularly as it was taken from the shoulder and the section that sits against the wall two areas often prone to waste. Thanks to excellent clamp management and the use of Silostop High Oxygen Barrier (HOB) sheets, there was no visible waste, reinforcing the effectiveness of our solutions.

The Impact of Silostop on Silage Quality

Across all the farms we visited, one thing stood out: the exceptional quality of silage. Farmers demonstrated best practices in bunker management, resulting in well-compacted, high-quality silage with minimal waste. The role of Silostop sheets in achieving these results was evident, proving once again how our products contribute to superior silage preservation.

Positive Feedback from Farmers

Beyond the technical aspects, the trip also highlighted the strong relationships between Agroteam and their customers. Farmers expressed satisfaction with the performance of Silostop products and the support they receive from our distributor. Their positive experiences reaffirm the value of our solutions and the importance of partnerships in the agricultural sector.

Our visit to Italy was both insightful and inspiring, reinforcing the impact of Silostop in helping farmers achieve better silage outcomes. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Agroteam and supporting more farmers in their efforts to produce top-quality feed for their livestock.
